Trial Electronic Resources

Publishers and suppliers often provide trial access to electronic resources. This helps prospective customers evaluate a resource before considering a subscription. The Library can arrange trials on an institution-wide basis through established contacts with publishers and suppliers.

Following a successful trial we will be subscribing to this resource from June 2022.

RCNi is the premier provider of innovative and creative information solutions for the whole nursing team and associated health professionals

They produce 11 journals, including Nursing Standard, to provide health professionals with the latest developments impacting nursing, including changes in policy, practice and research.  Additional products in our trail include:

  • RCNi Decision Support – designed to support decision making and standardise care across organisations,
  • RCNi Learning – an interactive online resource of CPD training modules,
  • RCNi Portfolio – an online store and tracking system to help you with revalidation.

Your library membership number is required for copyright purposes. Contact us if you do not have your membership number. If you are not yet a member you can join online.

One request per form only

We aim to process all requests by the next working day.

We aim to supply 90% of article requests by the next working day*.

We aim to supply 75% of book requests within five working days*.

*Some items are requested from other libraries and so may take longer to supply.
