We have access to thousands of journals online in full-text from a wide range of publishers and resources. To access the majority of these journals, you will need to sign in with a free OpenAthens account.
- To see if we have access to a specific journal online, the best place to start is by searching our catalogue.
- Searching our catalogue will show results from all the healthcare libraries across Kent, Surrey and Sussex, indicating which Trusts hold the journal in print, and in which Trusts the journal is available online.
- Follow the relevant links to access the journal, and log in with your OpenAthens account where prompted.

Finding journals in your library
Our KLS keeps a core journal collection of medical, nursing, health, scientific, and management titles.
Searching our catalogue will show whether we stock the journal in print. You can also view the full journal list at our A- Z journals page
Journal articles may be photocopied or scanned to email, but journals should not be removed from the premises and are not available for loan.
e-journals
To search and use our e-journals you will need to register for an OpenAthens account to view and use our e-journals from anywhere.
