Once again the Knowledge and Library Service will be supporting the Different, Not less. campaign. The campaign, created by Ginny Bowbrick, a Consultant Vascular Surgeon and mother of autistic twins with severe learning difficulties, aims to improve care for patients with learning disabilities or autism. In recognition of World Autism Acceptance Week, 28 March – 3 April 2022, you can collect a Different, not Less. pin badge from the library enquiry desk, Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 5pm from 23 March until the end of April 2022. Wearing the pin badge shows patients and their families that you want to care, to listen and to understand their needs. The Knowledge and Library Service will be sharing resources and information relating to the campaign on out Twitter feed, but if you cannot wait that long please come and ask at the library enquiry desk or email us at trust.library@nhs.net.
